if you grow tulips, they will come

Holland is prepping for one of the biggest events of the year.  Lawns are being mowed, food stands are popping up along the parade route, tulips are showing off their bright colors, stores are airing their wares, and school children are practicing their dance routines.

Put on your klompen! Tulip Time  is coming!

Soon the streets will be filled with throngs of tourists clamoring for small town nostalgia, Dutch culture, and bright flowers.  Hubby and I can't wait to see the hubbub.
