Mixed-up Monster Doodle Game

In this activity players take turns drawing different segments of a monster's body. Sounds easy, right?  Well, here's the catch- players draw the body parts without knowing what other body parts look like!  Yup!  There's a grand reveal at the end!

Laughs and smiles are sure to abound once everyone sees the resulting goofy monsters.

Materials Needed:

To do this activity, you'll need:
- scissors
- paper
- markers
- 2 or more players!

How to Play the Mixed-Up Monster Art Game:

1. First, cut a normal sheet of paper in half lengthwise.   Fold the paper in thirds.  Each player gets this sheet of paper to start.

2. Label the portions 1, 2, and 3.  The top portion (1) will contain the monster's head.  The middle portion (2) will contain the monster's body.  And the bottom portion (3) will contain the monster's legs (or other appendages... to be decided by the players!)  Each player draws the head portion first.   Don't let others see your artwork!

3. Once finished, the first player extends the lines of their monster's neck into the 2nd segment.  (This way the next artist knows where to attach the body. ) The first player now folds up the sheet so that only portion 2 is shown and slides the paper to the next player.

4.  The new artist now doodles in a body. (And again, keeps it a secret from the other players!)

5.  Once finished, the 2nd player also extends the monster's body partially into section 3 (so that the next artist will know where to connect the legs/appendages.)  Now the 2nd player folds the paper up, so that only the lower (3) portion of the paper remains.  The 2nd player then passes the sheet of paper to another player to complete the monster.

6.  And now the last portion of the monster's body is doodled in.
