We're currently digging rainbow crafts over here, so of course I had to make one of every color!

Make a Colorful Paper Garland
For some reason Spring seems to bring in parties galore. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, boy, oh boy, it seems like every week we're celebrating something new. Is it that way for you too? Spring is definitely a happy season for us. So with that in mind, I came up with this super simple paper garland that you and the kids can easily whip up within minutes! Tape them up and then poof, instant party!

Easy Lunar New year Rat Paper Cutting Craft
The rat is 2020's Chinese New Year animal. Today I'm sharing a fun paper cutting craft that celebrates the rat. This project is enough that elementary kids can enjoy the art of paper cutting while also celebrating traditional Chinese culture and the New Year. (I also particularly love today's craft because it's cute AND combines my affinity for making Chinese New Year crafts, trying out different origami and kirigami crafts, and cutting fun designer snowflakes!)

Two Ways to Make Paper People Chains
With the start of the school year, my son and I've been talking a lot friendships- what it takes to make and be a friend. I guess all that talk about friendships must have seeped into my crafting too, because I found myself with the great urge to cut out some paper people chains. Inspired by this wikiHow post I cut out and doodled some kid paper chains. Yup. Today's post is going old-school with 2 fun paper people chain designs.

Make Lego Prints with Kids
I'm always looking for ways to encourage my preschooler to make art with me. Lately he's been infatuated with Lego and Transformers. One day, after building a good-guy hideout from Lego, I was struck by how pretty our design looked. So we grabbed some paint and made some Lego prints to capture all the details of our lovely design!

Pop-Up Paper Plate Rainbows
It's been raining a lot! And while we need the rain, I do miss sunny days and blue skies. Last week was filled with grey skies, so we cheered ourselves up with these pop-up paper plate rainbows. Rainbow crafts are some of our favorites and this easy one was a lifesaver!
